About LibertyPDF

LibertyPDF started with a PDF and a deadline.

I was traveling when I needed to make a quick change to a document. Nothing complicated—just fix a line, clean up a piece of information, and send the PDF back. But every tool I found wanted me to create an account, install software, pay for a subscription, or put a watermark on the finished document. I didn't need a “PDF workflow.” I needed thirty seconds.

The always-free online editor.

LibertyPDF is a fast, no-nonsense PDF editor designed around that exact moment: open a file, make the change, and get on with your day. No account. No installation. No watermark. No unnecessary features standing between you and the document you need to fix. It's currently built and maintained by a single developer, with a deliberately simple infrastructure. Files are processed on a small, secure server in Chicago, IL (USA), all traffic is encrypted, and uploaded documents are kept in temporary session storage that is automatically wiped after about an hour. Files aren't published, shared, sold, or mined.
