Terms of Service

By using LibertyPDF you agree to the following plain-English terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Free service, no promises. LibertyPDF is free and provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We aim for fast, faithful editing, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect output — always keep your own copy of important files.

Your files stay yours. You keep all rights to documents you upload. You grant us only the temporary technical ability to process them (render, edit, export) until the automatic cleanup deletes them about an hour after your last activity. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Fair use. Don't abuse the service: no automated flooding, no attempts to break, probe, or overload it, and no uploading anything illegal or anything you have no right to use. Rate limits enforce this automatically; deliberate abuse gets blocked.

Passwords are your responsibility. If you lock an export with a password and lose it, the file cannot be recovered — not even by us. The encryption keeps honest people out; like any PDF password, it is a deterrent, not a vault.

Donations are gifts, not purchases. Contributions via Venmo or the wishlist buy server time and coffee. They don't purchase features, priority, storage, or support contracts.

Changes. These terms may change as the service evolves; continued use means acceptance. Major changes will be noted here with a new date.
